Emergency Schedule Changes
The district superintendent or designee may close schools, delay the start of the day or dismiss students early because of hazardous weather or other emergencies.
Parents may keep a child home if they believe travel is unsafe.
The absence will be excused, and the student will be allowed to make up missed work. Follow absence reporting procedures.

Two-Hour Weather Delays
View the district's Weather Policies page for up-to-date information on how the district makes decisions about inclement weather.
If schools remain open, the two-hour delay will remain in effect without an additional announcement.
Storms During the School Day
If a storm develops, the district may release students early. Parents or authorized adults must sign students out.
Students with permission to walk home will be released at the designated time. Other students will remain at school until they are picked up.
