District Technology
AIES uses one-to-one iPads in kindergarten through second grade and individual laptops in third through fifth grade. District technology supports research, assignments, communication and collaboration.
Students whose families sign the D20 Network Acceptable Use Agreement may use district devices and network resources for class-related learning. Access is a privilege. Misuse may result in discipline or restricted access.
Personal Phones and Smartwatches
Cell phones and smartwatches must remain off and stored in the student’s backpack during the school day unless staff explicitly authorize their use. All electronic communication devices must also be off during state testing in grades 3-5.
Personal Gaming Devices
Personal gaming devices are prohibited at school. See Student Behavior and Safety for other prohibited items.
