Breakfast and Lunch
AIES serves hot breakfast from 8:10 to 8:25 a.m. and lunch daily. Through Healthy School Meals for All, each student may receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each day. See today’s menu and grade-level lunch schedules.
Families are encouraged to apply for Free and Reduced Meals through Infinite Campus. Approval may provide additional fee reductions and help support school funding. See district Food and Nutrition Services for program information.
Classroom Celebrations
AIES holds fall, winter, Valentine’s Day and end-of-year classroom events. Teachers and assisting parents plan refreshments with classroom allergies in mind. Check with the teacher before bringing birthday refreshments. Healthy food choices are encouraged.
Siblings may not accompany parents or students to classroom parties.
Do not distribute party invitations at school.
Families are encouraged to avoid sending flowers or balloon bouquets to school.
Food Allergies
Follow your classroom’s guidance for snacks and celebration foods. AIES offers nut-free hot lunch options and a designated nut-protected cafeteria table. Classrooms avoid nut-based activities. See Health Services for school health support.
